Ibrahim Abdul-Matin is the author of Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet and is the co-founder of Green Squash Consulting a management consulting firm based in New York that works with people, organizations, companies, coalitions and governments committed to equity and justice and specializes in dynamic strategic and focused stakeholder management and partnership development. He is a Senior Fellow with Interfaith America and New Yorkers for Clean Power. Ibrahim sits on the boards of Sapelo Square whose mission is to celebrate and analyze the experiences of Black Muslims in the United States, the The Scherman Foundation which supports the arts and organizations that use community organizing and advocacy to build a more just, sustainable, and equitable New York, Green City Force which trains young leaders to power a green and inclusive economy and, Collective Diaspora - a global initiative aimed at the development of cooperatives throughout the African diaspora. He is on the Advisory Boards of the Trust for Public Land (NYS), The Union of Concerned Scientists and the International Living Future Institute.
